Coaching Skills Modules
Coaching Skills enhance the productivity of all people at work. These coaching skills are not just for formal 1-2-1 staff reviews – they also drive management performance and improved communication at all levels in the working day. These new skills enhance any managing style the manager has already. Their coaching will develop new learning in their people – to new levels of understanding, perception and motivation.
These courses give practical experience of coaching and useful tools for managing immediately. And you can support this learning development by using our 1-2-1 coaching, telephone or e-mentoring service, Ask Max! We invariably tailor courses for your specific needs – just ask us now. There is a stand-alone, consecutive, two-day course and an intermediate ‘follow-on’ course of one-day only (if required).
Module 1 – Coaching Skills 2 Day Program (example)
Two-day intensive: exposes participants to the essentials of all coaching disciplines. We include scenarios and role-play to improve learning and impact. Module 1 covers facilities, ground-rules, mental preparation, rapport and goal-setting. We also cover ‘body-language’, “clean” and reflective language and coaching models.
Module 2 – Intermediate Coaching Skills 1 Day Program (example)
Participants will (usually) have completed Module 1 and have put their learning into powerful effect at work. We extend the learning of the first module to embrace real ethical issues, silence as a facilitator for change, diagnostic tools (which you can tailor) as well as transference and projection. Participants also learn how to apply coaching to whole teams.
At the end of Module 1 participants will be better able to use coaching either in formal sessions or ad hoc as needed
After completing Module 2 participants will have a greater depth of understanding and further tools to apply.
